Background
The decision was taken to purchase an enhanced e-recruitment solution to both improve the candidate experience, increase online applications to 50/60% (currently an average of 40% of all applications received each week are online) and realise advertising savings.
Example modules included:
- Integration with the Council's HRIS platform 'Workforce' for both vacancyimport and succesful applicant export;
- Vacancies database;
- Video cast;
- Featured jobs;
- Online application;
- Jobs by email;
- Line manager access which includes applicant anonoymisation;
- Online short-listing;
- Invite to interview;
- Offer letter generation;
- Reference letter generation.
Outcomes:
- On average 50,000 unique visitors per month;
- In excess of 80-90% of all applications received online;
- Significant efficency savings within the recruitment process;
- Line managers have found the system simple to use.
